Kellen Frankart made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Old Fort, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They came out on top against Danbury by a score of 7-4 on Wednesday. The Stockaders haven't had any issues with the Lakers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.
Old Fort's win was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Ryan Adelsperger, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. The Stockaders are undefeated when Adelsperger posts two or more runs, but 3-8 otherwise. Harry King also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Old Fort's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Hopewell-Loudon has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .445. It's a different story for Old Fort, though, as they've only averaged .354. Will they be able to contain Hopewell-Loudon's hitters?
Everything went Hopewell-Loudon's way against Old Fort in their previous meeting back in April, as Hopewell-Loudon made off with an 11-1 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Chieftains since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
