The North College Hill Trojans lost against the Reading Blue Devils back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. North College Hill took a 57-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of Reading. North College Hill has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
North College Hill's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Jaiveon Allen, who scored 14 points along with three steals, and Deriyon New who scored nine points along with five rebounds.
North College Hill bumped their record down to 1-6 with that loss, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Reading, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-4.
North College Hill will be playing at home against Deer Park at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Deer Park is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak. Reading is on the road again on Friday and play against Taylor at 7:30 p.m. on January 5th. Taylor and Reading are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
