Evan Holcombe was his usual excellent self, scoring 16 points along with five rebounds and three steals. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last five games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Hunter Beenken, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Horizon Christian Academy has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a massive bump to their 8-10 record this season. As for Christian Community, their loss dropped their record down to 10-9.
Horizon Christian Academy won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against South Haven Christian at 1:30 p.m. on January 13th. South Haven Christian presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Horizon Christian Academy in their respective states (South Haven Christian is ranked 158th in Tennessee, while Horizon Christian Academy is ranked 410th in Georgia).
