After soaring to 67 points the game before, the Clayton Clippers were a bit more limited in their game on Tuesday. They were outmatched by Gloucester Catholic on the road and fell 72-17. Clayton was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 33-9.
Jordyn Jones and Ava Delaney certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Jones dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds, while Delaney scored no points along with eight rebounds. Jones has been hot recently, having posted nine or more rebounds the last six times she's played.
Clayton has not been sharp recently as the team's lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season. As for Gloucester Catholic, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-4.

As for Gloucester Catholic, they will head out on the road to square off against the Panthers at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Pitman will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps New Jersey Rankings (they are ranked 281st, while the Rams are ranked 68th).
