Meanwhile, Linganore came tearing into Friday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8 points) and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victor by a 67-47 margin over Towson. That 20 point margin sets a new team best for Linganore this season.
Linganore's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Christian Petruzzello led the charge by dropping a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds. Petruzzello has been hot recently, having posted nine or more rebounds the last four times he's played. Dylan Hodgson was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on ten points and 17 rebounds.
Tuscarora's victory bumped their record up to 2-15. As for Linganore, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-10.
