The St. Joseph Cadets's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 76-49 loss at the hands of Notre Dame Catholic. St. Joseph was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 49-24.
When it comes to explaining why St. Joseph lost, one person who can't be blamed is TJ Wright. Despite the final result, he scored 24 points. Chase Bryant was another key contributor, scoring three points along with three steals.
St. Joseph's loss was their third straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-1. As for Notre Dame Catholic, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Joseph will take on Masuk at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. Notre Dame Catholic will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Ridgefield at 7:00 p.m. on December 30th.
