North Bergen extended their winning streak to three on Thursday, bumping their season record up to 4-7 in the process. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 10-9 W against the Union City Soaring Eagles. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Bruins have posted against the Soaring Eagles since April 12, 2023.

As for Union City, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season. They just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

For Union City's part, Zo? Mays was cooking despite her team's loss, getting on base in three of her five plate appearances with one home run, two stolen bases, and three runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Abigail Ledesma, who went 2-for-3 with two triples, three RBI, and one run.

Coming up, North Bergen will square off against Memorial at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Union City, they will host Ferris at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
