With a playoff game on the line, the Web of Wisdom Wizards rose to the challenge on Thursday. They blew past the Sea Shepherds, posting a 49-15 victory on the road. The win was a breath of fresh air for Web of Wisdom as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
Web of Wisdom found their leader in underclassman Taylor Smith, who scored 19 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which Smith has scored at least a third of Web of Wisdom's points. Jason Johnson was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Web of Wisdom's win bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Solid Rock Community, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
Web of Wisdom will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against Genesis Prep at 4:00 p.m. on February 12th. Solid Rock Community does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
