The Pusch Ridge Christian Academy Lions will head out on the road to face off against the Nogales Apaches at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Pusch Ridge Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 on Tuesday.
Last Tuesday, Pusch Ridge Christian Academy took their match at home with ease, bagging a 53-17 victory over Walden Grove. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 29-5.
Pusch Ridge Christian Academy relied on the efforts of Alexis Ferbeyre, who scored 8 points along with 5 assists and 5 rebounds, and Sedona Dietrich, who scored 14 points along with 6 rebounds. Sierra Gifford was another key contributor, scoring 8 points along with 5 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Nogales' three-game losing streak came to an end last Wednesday. They were the clear victor by a 53-30 margin over Sabino. The win was just what Nogales needed coming off of a 52-15 loss in their prior matchup.
Pusch Ridge Christian Academy's victory bumped their season record to 3-3 while Walden Grove's loss dropped theirs to 0-3.
