The Old Suwanee Christian Conquerors will head out on the road to face off against the Sugar Hill Christian Academy Stallions at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Old Suwanee Christian has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
Even though Killian Hill Christian scored an imposing 64 points on Thursday, Old Suwanee Christian still came out on top. Old Suwanee Christian took their matchup against Killian Hill Christian 71-64. Winning is a bit easier when you work as a team to post nine more assists than your opponent, as Old Suwanee Christian did.
Old Suwanee Christian's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Brailen Allen, who scored 28 points along with 7 rebounds, and Devin Courtney, who dropped a double-double on 27 points and 13 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Courtney has scored at least 25% of Old Suwanee Christian's points. The team also got some help courtesy of John Barr, who scored 7 points along with 9 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Sugar Hill Christian Academy had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They strolled past Victory Baptist with points to spare, taking the game 44-27.
Their wins bumped Old Suwanee Christian to 7-5 and Killian Hill Christian to 4-8.
