Matthew Pisano ran for two touchdowns and
Matthew Allen added three as well as
Bishop Feehan (Attleboro, Mass.) defeated Dighton-Rehoboth Regional (North Dighton, Mass.) 49-7 on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a touchdown run by Allen in the first quarter, the Shamrocks led 42-7 at the half.
Bishop Feehan expanded its lead to 42 points entering the fourth quarter. BF scored once in the quarter on a touchdown run by Pisano.
The loss snapped the Falcons' 9-game winning streak.
Allen played well for the Attleboro school in the victory. He kicked seven extra points.
Dighton-Rehoboth Regional's lone touchdown came on a 70-yard run in the first quarter.
The Shamrocks went into the matchup giving up only 6.5 points per game. DRR came in surrendering 13.3 points per game this season.
The defeat comes as a step back for Dighton-Rehoboth Regional, which notched a 21-7 victory over Seekonk in its previous outing.
