While Chickasha put up some runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Bridge Creek. Chickasha was the clear victor by an 8-0 margin over Bridge Creek. The Fighting Chicks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by eight runs or more this season.

Layton Bryan made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over six innings pitched. What's more, he gave up only one walk, the fewest he's had since March 3rd. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 3-for-4.

Bryan wasn't the only one making solid contact as six players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Kaiden Boswell, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Another was Cason Ledford, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Chickasha's victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-2. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Bridge Creek, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.

Chickasha will challenge Lindsay at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lindsay will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Chickasha surely won't give up without a fight. As for Bridge Creek, they will face off against Purcell at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
