It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Peabody Warhorses had no problem doing just that on Friday. They blew past Booker T. Washington 42-6 at home. Considering Peabody has won five matchups by more than 28 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Despite the loss, Booker T. Washington still got an impressive performance from Teshaun Smith, who picked up 102 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Peabody's victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Booker T. Washington, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 4-7.
Peabody will take on Lafayette Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lafayette Christian Academy has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 317 points over their last six games. Booker T. Washington does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
