Knox is a perfect 9-0 against Argos since May of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Redskins will be playing in front of their home fans against the Dragons at 5:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Knox will roll into the game after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up two runs on Saturday, then bounced right back against LaVille on Tuesday. The Redskins blew past the Lancers 18-1. The win was some much needed relief for the Redskins as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

The team relied heavily on Karleigh Friedrich, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three doubles, three RBI, and two runs. Those three doubles gave her a new career-high. Elise Wolff was another key player, going 1-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.
Knox was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. They are 3-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Argos). They put the hurt on LaVille with a sharp 20-5 victory on Monday. With that win, the Dragons brought their scoring average up to 7.6 runs per game.
Ivy Stackhouse was a major factor no matter where she played. She pitched three innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off two hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Adelyn Lewark was a standout: she got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three stolen bases and four runs. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Ava Stackhouse, who went 1-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple.
Argos' victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-4. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.2 runs over those games. As for Knox, the victory also got them back to even at 4-4.
Wednesday's matchup might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Knox has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .451. However, it's not like Argos struggles in that department as they've averaged .444. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Knox took their win against Argos in their previous matchup back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 6-0 score. Do the Redskins have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Dragons turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
