Smith Vocational/Smith Academy took an ego-bruising defeat against Palmer two weeks ago, but they kept their chin up and bounced back last Friday. Smith Vocational/Smith Academy narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past McCann Tech 30-27.
Meanwhile, Ware put the finishing touches on their 4th blowout victory of the season. They took their match against Mohawk Trail Regional by a conclusive 29-6 score. Ware were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Smith Vocational/Smith Academy took a serious blow against Ware the last time the two teams met, falling 8-57. Can Smith Vocational/Smith Academy avenge their loss, or is history doomed to repeat itself ? We'll soon find out.
