The Central Dauphin East Panthers lost against the State College Little Lions back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Central Dauphin East took a 48-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of State College. Those 14 points set a new season-high mark for him. Xion Nichols was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Central Dauphin East's defeat was their fourth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 3-6. As for State College, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-6.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Central Dauphin East will challenge Cumberland Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Cumberland Valley will be looking to extend their current ten-game winning streak. State College is on the road again on Friday and play against Altoona at 6:30 p.m. on January 12th. Altoona is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
