Stagg came into Saturday's contest looking for another win against Ripon, but Gino Calderara wouldn't allow it. The Indians came out on top against the Delta Kings by a score of 59-46 on Saturday with plenty of help from Calderara, who shot 74% from the field on his way to 33 points and six rebounds. The matchup was his third in a row with at least 17 points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Tipeti Paini, who posted six points. Thanks to that strong game, he now owns an excellent 50% shooting accuracy.

Several Delta Kings players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Tutone Jones, who scored ten points. Howard Austin was another key player, going 5-for-11 to rack up 12 points.

Ripon's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Stagg, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.

Ripon didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 69-58 loss against West Campus on the 17th. As for Stagg, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 58-39 defeat against Sierra on the 16th.
