The Sedan Devils won the last time they faced the Caldwell Bluejays, and things went their way on Friday too. Sedan walked away with a 46-37 win over Caldwell. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Sedan.
Defeat or not, Caldwell got some senior leadership from Jackson Risley who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 16 rebounds and Miles Newell who scored ten points. Risley has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last four times he's played.
Sedan pushed their record up to 5-2 with that win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Caldwell, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.
Sedan will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Flinthills at 7:30 p.m. on January 23rd. Caldwell will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Central at 7:00 p.m. on January 26th.
