Despite the loss, Fayette County still got an impressive performance from Keith Gillespie, who scored 28 points along with four steals. Gillespie is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played.
Jasper pushed their record up to 11-2 with that win, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Fayette County, their loss ended a seven-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 7-2.

Morristown-Hamblen West will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in their respective state's rankings (they are ranked 101st in Tennessee, while Jasper is ranked 15th in Alabama). Fayette County is on the road again on Wednesday and play against Langston Hughes at 7:00 p.m. on December 27th. One thing working in Langston Hughes' favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last seven matches.
