The Olentangy Braves will head out on the road to take on the Thomas Worthington CARDINALS at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Olentangy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine on Tuesday.
Last Tuesday, Olentangy earned a 63-51 victory over Olentangy Berlin. The win made it back-to-back wins for Olentangy.
Olentangy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ulysses Ponder, who scored 24 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson Wiley, who scored 12 points along with five assists and two blocks.
Meanwhile, Thomas Worthington came up short against Dublin Jerome on Tuesday and fell 46-33. Thomas Worthington has struggled against Dublin Jerome recently, as their contest on Tuesday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Olentangy has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. As for Thomas Worthington, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-10.
Olentangy didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Thomas Worthington in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, but they still walked away with a 70-65 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Olentangy since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
