El Primero's loss came despite strong showings from GUSTAVO MALVAES and RICARDO GARCIA. MALVAES scored ten points along with two steals, while GARCIA scored two points along with eight rebounds and five blocks. GARCIA is absolutely dominating the block category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season.
KIPP San Jose Collegiate was led to victory by Juan Ayala and Christian Ademe-Johnson. Ayala scored 12 points, while Ademe-Johnson scored 11 points.
El Primero's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for KIPP San Jose Collegiate, they pushed their record up to 9-6 with that win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.
