Ferris will be playing at home against Marist at at 7:00 PM on Friday. Both of these teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
Things haven't been easy for Ferris, and their match last Friday only extended their streak of losses to eight. They took a serious blow against Millburn, falling 7-45. Ferris's defeat came about despite a quality game from junior Esaw Jamison, who caught passes for 109 yards and picked up 52 yards on the ground. If you haven't heard Jamison's name lately, then you haven't been paying much attention: he has loomed large in their past three games.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 14-54, which was the final score in Marist's tilt against East Side.
With the two teams each stumbling in off of a loss, both will be hungry for the victory. We'll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
