Grantsville has gone a perfect 7-0 against Ogden recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Cowboys will host the Tigers at 3:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Grantsville has 12 straight wins, Ogden has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Grantsville's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over Union. The result was nothing new for the Cowboys, who have now won 13 games by six runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Kira Hart, who fired off two home runs and five RBI while going 2-for-2. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Eden Ressel, who went 2-for-3 with three runs.
Meanwhile, after some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three contests, Ogden finally came back down to earth on Tuesday. They came up short against Union, falling 13-2.
Ogden saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jill Wood, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Grantsville pushed their record up to 17-6 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for Ogden, their loss dropped their record down to 5-13.
Ogden's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Grantsville has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 10.4 hits per game. It's a different story for Ogden, though, as they've been averaging 9.2 hits. Given Grantsville's sizable advantage in that area, the Tigers will need to find a way to close that gap.
Grantsville took their victory against Ogden when the teams last played on April 8th by a conclusive 19-2 score. Do the Cowboys have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Tigers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
