The Habersham School had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 27 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the First Academy Lions 71-24. The Patriots have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 35 points or more this season.

The Habersham School found their leader in freshman Whitt Sullivan, who posted 25 points. Another player making a difference was Caleb Parker, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten boards.

The Habersham School's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-5. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.7 points per game. As for First Academy, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

The Habersham School will take on Faith Baptist Christian Academy in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for First Academy, they and Appling Christian Academy will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest having both just played.
