After four games on the road, Newton Local is heading back home. They will take on the Franklin Monroe Jets at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Newton Local will be strutting in after a win while Franklin Monroe will be coming in after a defeat.

Meanwhile, Franklin Monroe came up short against Versailles on Tuesday and fell 49-41. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Franklin Monroe in their matchups with Versailles: they've now lost nine in a row.
Newton Local pushed their record up to 7-4 with that win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.3 points per game. As for Franklin Monroe, their loss dropped their record down to 9-4.
Newton Local was able to grind out a solid win over Franklin Monroe in their previous meeting back in January of 2023, winning 37-25. Will Newton Local repeat their success, or does Franklin Monroe have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
