After flying high against Malden Catholic last Tuesday, Bishop Fenwick came back down to earth. The Crusaders fell 3-1 to the Cardinal Spellman Cardinals on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cardinals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.

Kylie Murphy paced Bishop Fenwick's offense, picking up 16 kills. Murphy got some help from Emme Lubas and her 41 assists. Charlotte Spooner controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Bishop Fenwick's defeat ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-10. As for Cardinal Spellman, the win snapped their losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 9-11 record.
Bishop Fenwick wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against St. Mary's on the 23rd. Cardinal Spellman does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
