Chewelah will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Northwest Christian School at 7:00 PM. Chewelah will be hoping to continue their now three-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last.
Chewelah got themselves on the board against Kettle Falls last Friday, but Kettle Falls never followed suit. Chewelah put a hurting on Kettle Falls to the tune of 56-0. Chewelah found Chewelah's leader in underclassman sophomore Kaden Krouse, who rushed for 64 yards and 1 touchdown. Jeanneret has now scored at least one touchdown in the past seven games.
Meanwhile, Northwest Christian School put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season. They made easy work of Wilbur-Creston and carried off a 44-12 win. The victory was familiar territory for Northwest Christian School, who now have four in a row.
Their wins bumped Chewelah to 4-3 and Northwest Christian School to 6-1. Since neither squad is a stranger to landslide victories this season, you'd better bet it will be hard-fought showdown.
