Royall will be defending their home turf for the first time on Friday when they go up against Viroqua in at 7:00 PM. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Everything went their way against Wonewoc-Center/Weston last Friday as the team secured a 46-6 win.
Meanwhile, Viroqua made easy work of Iowa-Grant last week and carried off a 31-6 victory. Viroqua was expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Their wins bumped Viroqua to 2-0 and Royall to 1-1. With both Viroqua and Royall swaggering in after impressive performances, it will be interesting to see which team steps up to teach the other some humility.
