Northeast Nodaway suffered their biggest loss since December 7, 2023 on Thursday. They were the victim of a tough 62-38 loss at the hands of Mercer.
Meanwhile, Mound City suffered a tough 61-37 loss at the hands of North Andrew on Wednesday. Mound City has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Northeast Nodaway bumped their record down to 1-15 with that loss, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Mound City, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.
Northeast Nodaway was taken down by Mound City 83-45 in their previous meeting back in January of 2022. Can Northeast Nodaway avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
