Northwood/Solon Springs will be defending their home turf for the first time on Friday when they go up against Frederic in at 7:00 PM. Northwood/Solon Springs will be strutting in after a win while Frederic will be stumbling in from a loss.
Everything went their way against McDonell Central last Saturday as the team secured a 64-8 victory.
Meanwhile,, Frederic couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. Last week, they lost to Shell Lake by a decisive 22-38 margin.
Frederic's defeat took them down to 0-1 while Northwood/Solon Springs's triumph pulled them up to write [team] current record. A win for Frederic would reverse both their bad luck and Northwood/Solon Springs's good luck. We'll see if Frederic manages to pull off that tough task or if Northwood/Solon Springs keeps their momentum going instead.
