The Duchesne Eagles will head out on the road to square off against the North Summit Braves at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Duchesne sitting on three straight wins and North Summit on four.
Duchesne posted their closest victory yet this season on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past North Sevier 37-35. Despite the win, that was the fewest points Duchesne has scored all year.
Meanwhile, even though Tabiona scored an imposing 62 points on Tuesday, North Summit still came out on top. North Summit skirted past Tabiona 64-62.
Duchesne's victory bumped their record up to 9-7. As for North Summit, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-5.
Duchesne came up short against North Summit in their previous meeting on January 5th, falling 50-41. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of North Summit's Buck Sargent, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 17 rebounds. Now that Duchesne knows the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? There's only one way to find out.
