The Cornerstone Christian Academy Cougars can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent contest on Friday. They really took it to Grace Christian for the full four quarters, racking up a 67-23 win at home. The victory was nothing new for Cornerstone Christian Academy as they're now sitting on six straight.
Cornerstone Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Joseph Lemmon led the charge by scoring 21 points. Lemmon is absolutely dominating the point category: he's posted at least 15 every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Lemmon, who scored 17 points.
Cornerstone Christian Academy's victory was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-2. As for Grace Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-6.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cornerstone Christian Academy will challenge Sandhills Classical Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Grace Christian will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Columbus Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on January 30th. Columbus Christian Academy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
