The Pasquotank County Panthers''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They were beaten by Northeastern 43-7. Pasquotank County has struggled against Northeastern recently, as their contest on Friday was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.
Tyselle Spencer was his usual excellent self, rushing for 151 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries. Spencer hasn't dropped below two rushing touchdowns for nine straight games. Another player making a difference was Damari Mcneill, who rushed for 70 yards and a touchdown.
Another reason for the win was Northeastern's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for eight sacks. It was a group effort, with three picking up two apiece.
