The Centerville Bulldogs will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against the Franklin County Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

Madi Yount made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out 15 batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off five hits. Yount was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3.
In other batting news, Drew Tubesing was incredible, going 3-for-4 with a home run, three RBI, and two runs. Haven Walter was another key contributor, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.
Meanwhile, Franklin County had just enough and edged Cambridge City Lincoln out 2-1 last Thursday.
Jillian Harris looked comfortable as she struck out six batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and only one walk).
On the hitting side, Brooke Stang was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
