Basketball Recap: Red Lion Christian Skates Past Twin Valley Bible Academy with Ease

There's no place like home for Red Lion Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Twin Valley Bible Academy Pioneers 57-22. The Swordsmen have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 20 points or more this season.

Leading Red Lion Christian to victory were Luke Schock and Bennet De Los Santos`. Schock dropped a double-double on 13 points and 12 rebounds, while De Los Santos` went 8 of 14 en route to 18 points. Schock has been hot for a while, having posted eight or more boards the last 11 times he's played. Ruben De Los Santos was another key player, putting up five points in addition to nine assists and five rebounds.

Red Lion Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in seven consecutive contests.

Red Lion Christian is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.5 points over those games. As for Twin Valley Bible Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Looking ahead, Red Lion Christian will be playing at home against Carlisle Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Twin Valley Bible Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
