Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. Pauls). The stars were shining brightly for them in a 51-33 victory over the Red Springs Red Devils on Tuesday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Bulldogs as it put an end to their seven-game losing streak dating back to last season.

St. Pauls' first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Red Springs, their loss was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-9.

St. Pauls will be taking part in a tournament against Lumberton at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Lumberton has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 185 points over their last three matchups. As for Red Springs, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Whiteville at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Red Springs is facing Whiteville at the right time seeing as Whiteville is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
