The Logan Grizzlies's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their seventh straight loss. They were dealt a 60-17 loss at the hands of Tooele.
Josie Kennedy continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Tooele, dropping a double-double on 19 points and 13 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Kennedy has scored at least 25% of Tooele's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kennedy Searle, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds.
Logan bumped their record down to 1-9 with that defeat, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Tooele, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Logan will finish 2023 at home by hosting Providence Hall at 5:00 p.m. on December 28th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Utah (Providence Hall is ranked 104th, while Logan is ranked 127th). Tooele won't have much time to rest: their next match is against American Prep WV at 6:00 p.m. on December 20th. American Prep WV's defense has only allowed 22.7 points per game this season, so Tooele's offense will have their work cut out for Tooele.
