Williamsburg Academy had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 14-run drubbing they dealt Lee Academy on Wednesday. The Stallions blew past the Cavaliers 15-1. Considering the Stallions have won five matches by more than nine runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory (which was Williamsburg Academy's third in a row) raised their record to 8-6. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Lee Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-12.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Williamsburg Academy will challenge Carolina Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lee Academy, they will take on Richard Winn Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Cavaliers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 7.3 runs per game this season.
