Milwaukee Reagan is a perfect 4-0 against St. Francis since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Huskies will challenge the Mariners at 11:00 a.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Milwaukee Reagan has five straight victories, St. Francis has five straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Milwaukee Reagan's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They put the hurt on Milwaukee School of Languages with a sharp 17-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Huskies, who have now won seven matchups by 15 runs or more so far this season.

Larissa Michalak was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up a single walk in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, earning one RBI, one run, and one stolen base.

In other batting news, Milwaukee Reagan got a massive performance out of Zaida Nelson, who went 1-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. That's the most runs Nelson has posted since back in May of 2024. Ava Curry was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

Milwaukee Reagan always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .769. They are 7-1 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for St. Francis' offense. They came up short against Luther Prep on Thursday, falling 16-0.

St. Francis' defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Milwaukee Reagan, their record now sits at 7-5.

Milwaukee Reagan beat St. Francis 12-9 in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Huskies since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
