Charles Henderson came tearing into Thursday's game with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.8 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Greenville Tigers a 6-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Trojans, who have now won 11 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Cole Pugh, who scored two runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-2. What's more, he posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in February. Another player making a difference was Cooper Johnson, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-2.

Charles Henderson's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-9. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Greenville, they are on a 15-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-13.

Looking ahead, Charles Henderson will head out to take on Wicksburg at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Greenville, they will host Straughn at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
