The game between both teams wasn't particularly close, with Cornerstone Christian falling 55-41. They have struggled against Restoration Academy recently, as their contest on Monday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Several Chargers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Zeke Adams, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 14 rebounds. The matchup was Adams' third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Seth Dillard, who scored 15 points.
Cornerstone Christian's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-8. As for Restoration Academy, their win bumped their record up to 8-6.
Cornerstone Christian won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against New Hope at 6:00 p.m. on January 9th. New Hope is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. As for Restoration Academy, they will challenge Banks Academy on Monday.
