For the first time this season, Kennedy will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will head out to face off against the James Logan Colts at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. James Logan took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Kennedy, who comes in off a win.
Kennedy proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by 14) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out Concord 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Titans have posted since February 20th.

Nick Owsley made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He pitched 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (four). He was also big at the plate, scoring a run while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.
In other pitching news, Kennedy got a great performance from Jake Arrowood as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over 7.2 innings pitched. Arrowood also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Kennedy is 3-1 when he allows at most three earned runs, but 2-3 otherwise.
Back at the plate, the team relied heavily on Michael Pickett, who went 1-for-4 with four stolen bases. Those four stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Hunter Padilla, who got on base in three of his six plate appearances with one stolen base and one RBI.
Meanwhile, James Logan didn't have quite enough to beat Pittsburg on Saturday and fell 3-2. That's two games in a row now that the Colts have lost by just one run.
James Logan saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lester Miranda, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double. Jordan Medina also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.
This is the second loss in a row for James Logan and nudges their season record down to 2-6. Those defeats can't be blamed on the team's pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 4 runs in those games. As for Kennedy, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Kennedy suffered a grim 16-6 defeat to James Logan when the teams last played back in May of 2024. Can Kennedy avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
