McKinley Tech has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 441 points over their last seven matches.
On Monday, McKinley Tech faced the Bulldogs in a battle between two of the state's top teams. McKinley Tech fell to the Bulldogs 62-56. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Meanwhile, Woodson's recent rough patch got a bit rougher last Monday after their fifth straight defeat. They were the victim of a rough 55-30 defeat at the hands of Eastern.
McKinley Tech's loss dropped their record down to 15-10. As for Woodson, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-13.
Everything came up roses for McKinley Tech against the Warriors in their previous meeting back in December of 2022 as the squad secured a 58-29 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for McKinley Tech since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
