The Clarke County Bulldogs scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They took down Choctaw County 74-60. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Clarke County has managed all season.
Loss or not, Choctaw County got some senior leadership from Tyshawn Carlisle who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 13 rebounds and Jerome Blanks Jr. who scored 21 points along with five rebounds. The contest was Carlisle's sixth in a row with at least ten points.
The win makes it two in a row for Clarke County and bumps their season record up to 4-7. As for Choctaw County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clarke County will face off against Jackson at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Choctaw County's road trip will continue as they head out to face Hatch at 7:30 p.m. on December 16th.
