Central Lafourche waltzed into their game on Thursday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They never let the A.J. Ellender Patriots get on the board and left with a 15-0 win. The Trojans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 contests by six runs or more this season.

Central Lafourche pushed their record up to 17-6 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for A.J. Ellender, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.

Central Lafourche will head out on the road to face off against Plaquemine at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for A.J. Ellender, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 16-6 victory against East St. John on the 5th.
