Madison got themselves on the board against Jac-Cen-Del on Monday, but Jac-Cen-Del never followed suit. They blew past the Eagles 13-0. The Cubs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by six runs or more this season.

Madison's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-5. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.3 runs over those games. As for Jac-Cen-Del, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Coming up, Madison will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Brownstown Central at 5:30 p.m. The Cubs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Braves have averaged an impressive 7.8 runs per game this season. As for Jac-Cen-Del, they will square off against Southwestern at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Rebels have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.7 runs per game on average), something the Eagles will no doubt try to take advantage of.
