Winning always takes teamwork, but on Monday Tre Combs stepped things up a notch to give Waverly the 'W'. Combs scored three runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances, which was good enough to set a new career-high in runs.

Looking ahead, Combs and Waverly will challenge Eaton Rapids at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Warriors have some work to do to even out the 1-7 series between these two since April of 2016, but a win here would be a good start.
