The North Michigan Christian Academy Comets's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight defeat. They had to suffer through a rough 75-32 loss at the hands of Ellsworth. North Michigan Christian Academy has struggled against the Lancers recently, as their match on Friday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
It was another big night for Patrick Puroll, who shot 4-for-6 from long range and almost dropped a double-double on 23 points and nine rebounds for Ellsworth. Puroll hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Evincio LaCount, who scored 18 points.
North Michigan Christian Academy has traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last ten matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season. As for Ellsworth, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-9.
North Michigan Christian Academy will head out on the road to challenge the Swordsmen at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Harbor Light Christian will be looking to keep their ten-game home win streak alive. Ellsworth will take on the Snowbirds at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
