Farmington came tearing into Saturday's matchup with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 13-5 margin over the Rio Grande Ravens. The Scorpions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by eight runs or more this season.

Farmington pushed their record up to 13-3 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.7 runs on average over those games. As for Rio Grande, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-7.

Coming up, Farmington will head out to square off against Rio Rancho at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be Farmington's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Rio Grande, they will welcome La Cueva at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
