The La Salette Academy Lions will head out on the road to challenge the Dupo Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (La Salette Academy has six straight wins, Dupo has 19 straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Last Tuesday, La Salette Academy earned a 54-43 victory over Milford.
La Salette Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Eamon Martin, who scored 22 points along with four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Martin has scored all season. Elijah Hall was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Dupo suffered their biggest loss since December 1, 2023 last Wednesday. They were dealt a 51-22 loss at the hands of Bunker Hill.
La Salette Academy pushed their record up to 11-4 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.0 points per game. As for Dupo, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-9.
